Vijaya Pura: Karnataka assembly polls 2023 is being considered as a Semi final before Lok Sabha elections in the country. Countdown for Karnataka assembly election has begun. BJP has fielded Chief Minister of many states along with Union Ministers for campaign to retain power in Karnataka. Besides, PM Modi himself often visits Karnataka. Now Congress is also in the election mode.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday held a massive roadshow in Karnataka’s Vijaya Pura, ahead of the May 10 Karnataka Assembly polls. Later, addressing a public meeting, Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted the state government. He said that the Congress party will give Rs. 2 thousand per month to every woman if Congress forms government in the state. Every family will be entitled for 200 units of electricity every month. We will give 10 kg of rice per month to every member of the family. Most importantly, we will give Rs. 3 thousand every month to all graduates and Rs. 1500 to diploma holders youth of the state.
Addressing a rally after the road show in Vijaya Pura, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the Karnataka government and said that the BJP government is the most corrupt government in India. BJP government of Karnataka charged money from the people of state to get their work done. Whatever they did , they have taken 40 per cent as commission. The contractor association for the first time wrote a letter addressed to the Prime Minister that 40% commission has been taken in Karnataka. But the Prime Minister has not replied to the letter. Later, Prime Minister in his address says he is against corruption.
On this occasion, claiming victory Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that now there will be Congress party government, they (BJP) will not be able to buy the government because we will win 150 seats. BJP is habituated of 40% commission, BJP is about to get 40 seats.
The Karnataka assembly elections are going to be held on May 10 and the results will be declared on May 13. All political parties, including BJP and Congress, are busy with preparations for the election.
