Kangana Ranaut suspended from Twitter
Controversial actor Kangana Ranaut was permanently banned by microblogging website Twitter after she posted a tweet related to the post-poll violence in West Bengal. The actor’s account was permanently suspended by Twitter for violating its policy and for hateful conduct and abusive behaviour.
While there is no clarity on which tweet of the actor resulted in the ban, many are speculating the tweet asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tame Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee might be the reason behind the ban.
Kangana Ranaut in the tweet said, “This is horrible…we need super gundai to kill gundai…she (Mamata) is like an unleashed monster, to tame her Modiji please show your Viraat roop from early 2000’s.” The actor faced severe criticism for the tweet. Politicians, celebrities and common users also accused hr of instigating communal tension.
