While everyone is waiting for the results after the Jharkhand assembly elections are over peacefully. Vote counting is being conducted today. After the polls conducted in 5 phases, the results will come today. It will be clear which party gets the power.
At present, there is a BJP government in the state. Raghuvardas of BJP is the first Chief Minister of the state to complete his five-year term. On the other hand, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) against the BJP, the Congress and the Janata Dal have joined the coalition. The coalition has declared Hemant Soren as its prime ministerial candidate.
After the completion of the voting process for the assembly polls, most exit polls are predicting BJP’s defeat in Jharkhand and the victory of the coalition.
It is pertinent to mention that during the election campaign, all the candidates had raised the alarm for the rejection of voters in Jharkhand. Several big leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, addressed the rallies from the BJP. While Rahul Gandhi from the Congress took the lead in campaigning. In his election speeches, he made promises to each of the parties. While the issues of citizenship Act, economic recession, inflation and Pakistan were also raised.
