A reconsideration petition has been filed against the decision of the Supreme Court in the Ayodhya case, but till now the name of Rajiv Dhawan, who was the advocate of Sunni Waqf Board and other Muslim parties, did not come up anywhere. It is now clear that the Muslim parties have decided not to take the services of Rajiv Dhawan. Rajiv Dhawan himself disclosed this information on Tuesday morning and stated his pain on Facebook. He said that Jamiat has filed a petition through Ijaz Maqbool. ‘Jamiat has the right to choose his own lawyer. Now I am not in the review petitioner, but I am not happy with Maulana Mahmood Madni’s statement where he mentioned that Rajiv Dhawan is not well, so his services are not being taken. This is rubbish.’
Advocate Rajeev Dhawan (who appeared for Sunni Waqf Board & other Muslim parties in Ayodhya case): No longer involved in the review or the case. I have been informed that Mr Madani has indicated that I was removed from the case because I was unwell. This is total nonsense. https://t.co/K9rNgsk0No

In the Ayodhya case, Rajiv Dhawan has been lawyer for the Muslim side since the beginning. During this time, he was in discussion many times. His acceptance in the last days reduced when he tore the map presented by the Hindu side on the Ram temple. He was opposed in all over the country.
It can be noted that after the decision of the Supreme Court, Jamiat has filed a review petition in the Supreme Court. But this time, lawyer Rajiv Dhawan will not appear in court.
