Jamaica’s Tony-Ann Singh has won the Miss World 2019 title. India was also dominant in this competition. Suman Rao, who represented India at the Miss World 2019 was the second runner up in this contest in London on December 14, won the title of Miss World Asia 2019 during the beauty pageant.
Suman Rao was born on November 23, 1998, in the village of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Suman’s father Ratan Singh Rao is a jeweler, while his mother Kunwar Rao is a housewife. She has two brothers named Jitendra and Chirag.
When Suman was one year old, his family came to Mumbai. She completed her schooling at Navi Mumbai Mahatma School of Academics and Sports and was doing Accountancy course from Mumbai University. She is also a trained Kathak dancer.
In 2018, Suman Rao took part in the Miss Navi Mumbai competition, where she was the first runner-up. She then auditioned for Femina Miss Rajasthan 2019 title in which she became the winner.
Suman Femina represented Rajasthan in the Miss India 2019 competition. She was crowned Miss India on June 15, 2019. Suman Rao was greeted by people from all over the country after being placed 5th in the 69th Miss World Competition.
Sumon made his wise appearance in the Miss World competition. In the Beauty with a Purpose segment, she took the initiative to help tribal women through economic independence. In addition, Suman is associated with the Princess Diakumari Foundation. Which helps women create handmade decorative crafts, accessories and jewelry.
