Ahmedabad: Good news has arrived for travelers. The Private Train-Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express with private on-board management by IRCTC will start operating on commercial basis from 19th January and the train will have its inaugural run on 17th January.
Launched by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, the Tejas Express will also have a private checking staff and train hostess like the flight. The Railway Board will be running from Ahmedabad to Mumbai at Tejas Regular Base from 19th.
However, no information has been found about the fare of Tejas Express yet. According to sources, it is estimated that AC chair rentals are expected to be 1200 to 1300 and executive chair rentals to be 2400 to 2500. Travel includes passenger breakfast and meal rentals. Tejas, the country’s first private train will leave from Surat station on January 17 at 9:35 am on its two-minute stop to Mumbai. The Tejas will have a regular start from January 19th.
The Tejas Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 6:40 AM and will reach Vadodara at 8:08 AM. Then from Surat it will arrive at 9:35 AM and after 2 minutes hold the rain will react to Vapi at 10:55 AM. It will then reach Borivali at 12:31 PM and then to Mumbai Central at 1:10 PM. Similarly, from Mumbai Central it will depart at around 3:40 PM and will reach Surat at 6:47 PM, Bharuch at 7:29 PM, Vadodara at 8:18 PM and Ahmedabad at 9:55 PM.
