Imam Omar Ahmed Ilyasi Appeal for Peaceful Protest to Oppose CAA


Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act are taking place all over the country. At the same time special security arrangements have been made in Uttar Pradesh because of Friday. In such a situation, the head of the All India Imam Organization, Imam Omar Ahmed Ilyasi, has appealed to peacefully oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act. Ilyasi said that protest is your democratic weapon, but it should be done in a peaceful manner.

He said that I want to appeal to all citizens that peace should be maintained. It is our democratic right to protest and we should do so in a peaceful manner. He also said that a 50-member delegation will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

It should be noted that protests are being organized all over the country regarding this law. Last Friday, a rally and procession was taken out after the prayers of Friday in many parts of the country. After which there was violence in many places. Not only this, to save the people from rumors, internet service has been closed in more than 20 districts. In such a situation, the statement of the Imam of All India Imam Organization has come at a very important time.
