Two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp chairman Pawan Munjal on Sunday said that the next set of technology giants will emerge out of India, asserting that it is time for India to grab its rightful place in the global economy. Munjal was addressing students on the occasion of the 10th convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN).
“It is time to show the world that the next set of technology giants will be born out of India. We have always spoken about our ingenuity, demographic dividend, and our “never say die” spirit; if there was any time to make the most of these traits, it is surely now. And you, the young heroes, will have to lead this charge from the front,” the corporate honcho said.
While encouraging students to lead the country, Munjal also shared his father’s Dr Brijmohan Lall Munjal and his own journey and the evolution of Hero MotoCorp into a leading automobile brand.
