Bharat Biotech stated it intended to submit documentation for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in more countries.
Currently, Covaxin is not recognized in several countries, including many in the European Union.
Earlier, Brazil had suspended clinical trials of the vaccine after Bharat Biotech cancelled a supply deal amid allegations of financial irregularities by the government.
