Mumbai: The Customs department seized two luxury wrist watches worth Rs 5 crore from cricketer Hardik Pandya at the Mumbai airport on his return from Dubai, as per reports.
The cricketer was part of the team that played the T20 World Cup in Dubai. He was returning on Sunday night after India’s exit from the game. During checking, the Customs officials found him in possession of two high-end wrist watches, allegedly without an invoice. The Mumbai Customs has reportedly said that Pandya did not declare the watches as Customs items.
