Gujarat University on Monday said it will conduct exams for graduate and postgraduate students in two phases beginning from December 29 onwards.
According to the circular issued by Gujarat University, the semester 3 and 5 exams of various graduate and postgraduate courses will begin in two phases from December 29 and January 7 next year.
The varsity has released the list of exam centers in 45 cities of the state. A student who wants to appear for offline exams has to select the appropriate center for the same. In case if a student is unable to select the exam center then the university will provide the student with an exam center.
Earlier, the university had asked the students to fill up the online forms if they want to opt for online exams. Online exams will be multiple-choice questions.
The university had postponed the examination dates after declaring that they will begin from December 10 onwards.
The university has asked all its students to follow the guidelines related to COVID – 19 prevention while attending the exams.
Earlier, the varsity had made masks mandatory for anyone entering its premises. Those without a mask will not be allowed entry, Gujarat University had said.
It has also said that street vendors will not be allowed to operate near the university campus. The same instruction has been passed to Navrangpura Police Station.
To avoid COVID-19 infection Gujarat University has also asked all its departments not to hold cultural programmes until further orders.
The University has asked its students to obtain the prior permission of their departmental head while arriving at the university campus.
