Gujarat University to begin offline exam from September 3 &12


The Gujarat University has announced the schedule for its final year graduation and post-graduation offline exams. The exams were postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gujarat university exam news

The exams will now be held on September 3 and 12. Gujarat University has also decided that it will offer one more attempt for candidates who are not able to attend the exams due to illness or any other issues. The University has also announced that all guidelines issued by the Centre for prevention of the spread of COVID-19 will be followed when the exams are conducted.


Gujarat University said students who are abroad or are out of Gujarat will have to opt for the online exams. The varsity has also said that the offline exams irrespective of the faculty will be two hours long. Usually, the exams are three hours long.

Time: 10 am to 12 am

  • MA- Fourth semester
    LLB- Second, fourth and sixth semester
    LLM- First and third semester
    MCom- Fourth semester
    M.Ed- Fourth semester
    Five years integrated law – Second, sixth, fourth, eighth and tenth semester

Gujarat University postponed exams on August 10 Gujarat university exam news

The Gujarat University had earlier in a sudden move on August 10 deferred the exams for final year students of colleges associated with the varsity. The exams were to be held on August 21 and 31 and close to 70,000 students were to appear for the exams.

The university was forced to postpone the exams a second time after the MHA guidelines said that schools and colleges will not open till August 31. The exams were to be conducted in 12 districts of the state.
