The GTU has declared the dates for online and offline examination for final year students of undergraduate and diploma courses as well as for regular students of all semesters of post graduate courses.
In a release it said that regular Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exams will be held on July 30, time table for which will be announced later. It said that students who don’t want to appear for the online MCQ exams can appear for the offline one on August 17. It has said that a special examination will be conducted in September 2020 for students who were unable to appear for the online or offline exams. This is believed to be targeted at students who may be COVID-19 positive or in quarantine at the time of examination.
It has said that all undergraduate final year and diploma students as well as regular students of all semesters of post graduate courses will have to appear for one of the three exams (offline/online/special). Earlier the students had protested GTU’s plan to hold offline descriptive type exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state. It had at that time said that the exams would be conducted on July 2 and July 3. Teh exams were later postponed.
