Gujarat Pollution Control Board(GPCB) permission was not taken before allotting the land to Gandhidham Municipal authorities. The land is fertile and is used for agricultural purposes.

Despite several written representations by Vada Hamipar Gram Panchayat and Chandipar Gram Panchayat, no action was taken.

Hence the villagers have filed a PIL before the high court. The village Vada has a population of 1500 people and 500 cattle which largely depend on grass available in the vicinity of the village.
