Sanitation worker accuses railway station master in Vadodara of rape

A sanitation worker at a railway station in Vadodara has accused the station master of rape. The incident happened at the Pilol Railway Station in Vadodara. The woman has filed a complaint with the Vadodara Railway Station. She has also accused the station master of threatening to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone.

According to the complaint, the woman was cleaning the area near the station master Rajendrakumar Verma’s office when he called her to the storeroom where cleaning supplies were kept.

He then raped her and then tried to offer her money so that she would keep quiet about the incident.

The incident happened 20 days before the lockdown was announced.

The woman later informed her husband about the rape who then asked her not to go for work anymore. Later as the lockdown was announced, the couple left for their village and returned to the city only by June.

On October 17, the station master again visited the woman and threatened her with a knife and reminded her not to inform anyone about the rape. She told her husband about the incident and this time the couple decided to file a complaint with the Railway Police Station about the rape. The cops arrested the station master and a case was filed against him.

Four killed in a hit-and-run incident in Jhagadia

In a hit-and-run incident in Jhagadia in Bharuch district, a dumper hit three women and a man killing three people on the spot. One of the injured was moved to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries taking the total toll in the incident to 4.

The incident happened near Gumandev Village in Jhagadia when a speeding dumper hit three women and a man. Villagers created a ruckus demanding that a speed breaker be put to help control the speed of vehicles passing through the area.
