2 days after Pirana-Pipdaj fire kills 12, AMC seals six godowns for lacking fire NOC

Two days after a blast and fire in a textile factory at Revabhai Nanubhai estate in Pirana-Pipdaj brought down the structure killing 12 people and injuring several others, the AMC swung into action.

All the six godowns were functioning without requisite permission and also lacked fire NOC.

Some of the chemicals that were found stored included hydrogen peroxide, potassium, sodium hexanoate. They also recovered several drums with chemicals stored in them.
