Court’s direction to AMC on fire safety
The court also asked Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to file an affidavit about the details of private hospitals which have not complied with the fire safety directions issued on December 15, 2020.
AMC was also directed to place on record the photocopies of fire NOC of various hospitals falling within its jurisdictional limits. The court has cautioned the AMC not to remove or open the seal of Shrey Hospital without its permission.
The court said it expects an appropriate statement from the state government by the next date of hearing regarding the adoption of the Clinical Establishment Act 2010.
