The police have arrested five people with MD Drugs worth Rs4.98 lakh from Banaskantha. The drugs were being ferried in a car from Rajasthan.
The case came to light after the Eco car in which the accused were travelling turned turtle when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Agthada village in Lakhni taluka of Banaskantha district.
The car was coming from Sanchor in Rajasthan with the consignment of the narcotics.
Police arrived at the scene of the incident and a search of the vehicle showed that the five were ferrying MD Drugs worth Rs4.98 lakh.
All five were booked under the NDPS act.
