COVID surge: Guj MoS Health Kishor Kanani says people calling up to abuse him

As COVID cases surge in Gujarat with the situation getting worrisome in Surat, Minister of State for Health Kishor Kanani is getting abusive calls. The MLA from Varachha in a video post on Facebook said that people were abusing him and that he had been getting such phone calls aimed at getting him worked up.

Kishore Kanani has alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and several other opposition people were out to harass him by making abusive phone calls, the motive of which was to get him to react poorly to such phone calls.

He said the motive of the phone calls seems to be to get him angry so that his outburst can be recorded and the same can be released on social media.

He said he makes it a point to return every call that he receives in case he is not able to attend them. He said given the COVID situation many people may need help and such abusive phone calls prevent him from reaching out to those who need help.
