The AMC has sealed three offices for violating its 50% staff-only norms. The AMC official carried out checking at 233 private offices and organisations to ensure that only 50% of staff were being called to work. . During checking it was found that three offices were not following the norms and hence they were sealed and issued a notice.
The three offices are of BV Sorathia Construction limited at Sola, Vora, Shah & Company at Ellisbridge, and Fed Bank at Maninagar. So far the AMC has carried out checks at 5,361 offices and has sealed 45 offices.

AMC has also shut down its civic centers in the city as COVID cases continued to surge but most of its services are available online. Earlier, the AMC had also shut down the Aadhar Card centers as COVID cases surged. Tea and paan shops have also been down and today it also announced the shutting of beauty parlour and hair cutting salons for an indefinite period.
It had also announced that offices will have to function at 50% staff strength and had begun sealing those that violated the norms.

The AMC carried out checking at 267 offices and building Star Bazaar, Jodhpur, Arsenal Tech Pvt Ltd, SG Highway, Pure Care Pvt Ltd, Sarkhej, Premvati, Mansi Circle, Ariyan Ltd, Ashram Road, Team Lease, Ashram Road, National Handloom, Naroda, Mahadev Mobile, Naroda and VV Mobile, Naroda.
