Ahmedabad-based Prasad Doshi has emerged among the top scorers in the city for the recently announced results for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2020) which was conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in November last year.
Doshi scored 99.97 percentile in the recently announced CAT 2020 results.
Doshi, a student of IMS coaching center, told Gujarat Exclusive that he used to prepare for CAT while holding a job.
“To prepare for the test, one of the most important things to do is to identify your weakness and work on it. For identifying the weakness, one needs to appear for as many mock tests as possible,” said Doshi.
“Initially I scored low in verbal English in the mock tests and so started working more on it. Today when the CAT results were announced I scored 98.5 percentile in the verbal English section,” he said.
Other top scorers in CAT 2020
Another student Abhinav Gupta who scored 99.58 percentile in the CAT 2020 results has already got admission for the MBA course in RICE JONES Graduate School of Business with an Rs70 lakh scholarship but he says he wants to study in India.
Some of the other top scorers from the city include Vishal Badlani (99.44 percentile), Pulkit Pandey (99.84 percentile), and Lansu Kedia (99.88 percentile), and Yashwardan Panwar (99.94 percentile).
Around 2.27 lakh candidates had registered for the CAT-2020 exams of which 1.90 lakh appeared for the same. Of the total candidates who appeared for the exams, 1.47 lakh were male candidates.
