What minister had said about lack of tap connectivity
Earlier Gujarat Water Supply Minister, Kunvarji Bavaliya said that some villages were left out of the piped water supply due to some technical reasons or defects at the time of the survey when the project was initiated.
Bavaliya’s comments were in connection with a Gujarat Exclusive story that reported that 161 villages in Gujarat still lack piped water supply.
“We will modify the same in present government projects and will roll out new projects if necessary to provide water facilities to such villages”, Bavaliya had said at that time.
