Gujarat COVID-19 figures on Wednesday touched 1,37,394 as the state recorded 1,390 new cases. The state has recorded over 1,300 cases for 19 days now while it has recorded over 1400 cases for nine days so far.
The state has carried out 61,966 tests in the last 24 hours.
1,372 patients were cured of COVID-19 in the state in the last 24 hours taking the recovery rate to 85.32%. The state has in all recorded 16,710 active cases of which 86 are on ventilator support. So far 1,17,231 patients have recovered from the disease in the state.
The state also saw 11 fatalities due to the disease. Of this, four were in Surat, three in Ahmedabad and one each in Kutch, Mehsana, Rajkot and Vadodara.
Of the total deaths in Surat and Ahmedabad, three were in AMC and two in SMC limits.
With this, the Gujarat COVID-19 fatalities stand at 3,453.
The addition of three fatalities reported in the past 24 hours has taken the death toll due to COVID-19 in Ahmedabad to 1,814. The death toll has increased to 770 in Surat, whereas it remains 184 for Vadodara and 78 for Gandhinagar.
Surat city saw 180 new cases being recorded while 118 were reported from the district. Similarly, the Ahmedabad Corporation area had 179 new cases while it was 18 in the district.
Vadodara and Gandhinagar corporations respectively recorded 92 and 26 cases. Interestingly, the city limits of Gandhinagar had fewer cases than the district.

The state has so far crossed over 1,200 cases per day seven times. Gujarat has recorded over 1,100 cases 18 times, over 1,000 cases 19 times, over 900 cases eight times and over 800 cases for four consecutive days. It has recorded more than 700 cases in a day five times so far.
61,966 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as part of Gujarat COVID-19 with the number of tests per million per day now standing at 953.32. The state has tested over 43 lakh people for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
