Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be on a one-day visit to New Delhi on Monday, his first since taking up the top post in the state recently.
In Delhi, Bhupendra Patel is scheduled to meet President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and others.
The CM is scheduled to meet President Kovind at 11 am. He will then meet Shah at 3 pm and PM Modi at 4 pm.
He is also scheduled to meet BJP national president JP Nadda.
Bhupendra Patel had taken charge as the chief minister of Gujarat on September 13, two days after Vijay Rupani resigned from the post. The rest of the Cabinet took oath on September 16. The change of guard in Gujarat comes just before the Assembly elections in 2022.
