New Cabinet in Gujarat: CM Bhupendra Patel keeps Home, GAD; Kanu Desai gets finance

  • Former Speaker Rajendra Trivedi is new Law minister of Gujarat

Gandhinagar: The newly inducted ministers have been allocated their portfolios in the Gujarat government. The portfolio allocation took place at the Cabinet meeting held three hours after the swearing-in ceremony on Thursday afternoon.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel kept Home, General Administration Department, Information and Broadcasting, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, Mines and Minerals, Narmada, Ports and portfolios not allocated to any other minister.

Kanu Desai has been given Finance while Rajendra Trivedi will look after Revenue, Disaster Management and Law and Judiciary.
