At least nine people are reported to have been killed in two shootings in the German shisha bar. Incidents of firing occurred twice inside Hanau province of Germany last night. The gunman suspected of two shooting incidents in Germany was also killed. According to the German newspaper Bild, German police found the suspected gunman dead in his father’s house.
Local police have confirmed that eight people were killed in two shootings in the West German city of Hanau on Wednesday evening. According to the police, firing incidents occurred at two different places in Hanau around 10 pm local time. Hanau is in south western Germany, located about 20 kilometres east of Frankfurt. It has about 100,000 inhabitants and is located in Hesse State.
According to the news agency AFP, the first attack took place at the midnight bar in Hanau city center while the second attack occurred near the Arena bar. Police officials have started searching for criminals in the early hours of Thursday. Police said that about five people were also injured after the shooting. Police said that a vehicle was left at the location of the first attack at around 10 am. The police did not give any information on the victims in the statement and said that there is no information about why this attack was carried out.
