Former Delhi health minister and AAP leader Satyendar Jain has been kept on oxygen support and is being shifted to the Lok Nayak Hospital after his health took a downward turn, according to Aam Aadmi Party. Tihar Jail authorities also confirmed the same, reports Hindustan Times.

Doctors at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital (DDU), where he was shifted from Tihar jail earlier, said that Jain was brought to the hospital on Thursday morning after being referred by the Tihar medical team.
According to the reports, Satyendar Jain had fallen in the bathroom of Tihar Jail due to dizziness. He suffered a spinal injury due to which he was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. His X-ray and scans were conducted, and he was kept under observation till 10 am, after which he was referred to Lok Nayak Hospital, as he complained of persistent pain in his back, shoulder, and knee, hospital officials said.
According to the jail official, at around 6 am today, prisoner Satyendar Jain slipped and fell in the bathroom of MI room of CJ-7 in hospital. Jain was kept there under observation due to physical weakness. Following the incident, the doctors examined him, his vitals were found normal. But after his complaint about pain in back, left leg and shoulder, Jain was referred to DDU Hospital. Earlier also, Satyendar Jain had fallen in the bathroom.
Jain has been in judicial custody since June 12, 2022 in the money laundering case.
