Forecast for unseasonal rain in Gujarat for next five days, raises concern for farmers

Meteorological Department (MD), has predicted unseasonal rain in Gujarat for next five days.
Most of the districts of Gujarat will experience rain accompanied with light Thunderstorms with gusty wind. MD has predicted unseasonal rain due to the effect of western disturbance. According to forecast by MD, temperature will reduce by 3 degree Celsius in next 3 days.

There are reports of unseasonal rain in villages of Bhachau and Rapar taluka. The weather in Surendranagar and Vadhvan city has also changed and there are repots of drizzle. Meanwhile, MD has predicted light rain accompanied with Light Thunderstorms with maximum surface wind speed less than 40 kmph at isolated places in Kutch, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Sabar Kantha, Banas Kantha, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Dang, Daman and Aravalli today.

Rain is expected in many areas of Gujarat till May 3. Due to the possibility of unseasonal rain in the end of April, the temperature may decrease. People may get relief from the scorching heat. The rain is expected around April 27-28 in some areas of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and South Rajasthan.

MD has also predicted unseasonal rain in Gujarat during the end of April and the weather to remain same in the beginning of May. Subsequently, the temperature is expected to rise. Generally, the state experience severe heat in April and May. But Gujarat is not as hot as before this year.
