Shootout in Delhi’s Rohini court; gangster, 3 others killed

New Delhi: Four persons, including a jailed gangster, were killing in a firing that took place inside the premises of Rohini court in Delhi on Friday. A few persons are said to have been injured in the incident.

According to available information, gangster Jitender Gogi was killed in the firing by members of a rival gang. The firing happened when he was presented before the judge. He died on the spot. He was

According to police, two attackers had come to the Rohini court dressed as lawyers. They, too, were killed in counter firing by the police.

Gogi was arrested in March last year after a four-year chase, along with his three associates.

Earlier this year, Gogi was found to be carrying out his work freely from behind the bars. He was accused of murder, extortion and gang war.

He had been arrested by the special cell of Delhi police.

While bringing the gang war back to fore, the incident also raises questions on security arrangement in the court premises
