In her address, FM Sitharaman added that India’s presidency of the G20 in this challenging time is a great opportunity for India to prove itself and work towards bringing all countries together on concrete issues.
I think this is the right time for G20 members to sit together and raise the issues. Currently, we are approaching saturation in providing basic facilities in India. Today the vision of the government is to empower the poor people with basic amenities like house, drinking water, electricity etc. Our focus is on financial inclusion so that everyone has a bank account and the benefits reach them directly.
Keeping her point on the revival of the Indian economy after the Corona epidemic, FM Nirmala Sitharaman said that certainly it is the entrepreneurial nature of the Indian people. Despite losing their loved ones, Indians saw an opportunity in taking up this challenge and help each other after coming out of the situation.
