Ahmedabad: US President Donald Trump is visiting India on 24-25 February. Trump will arrive directly from Ahmedabad on February 24 at Ahmedabad Airport. He will be given a grand welcome here, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is going to welcome it. Trump was scheduled to meet Gandhi Ashram before this. But now information is being received that he will leave from the airport to go directly to Motera Stadium. It was decided not to meet Gandhi Ashram at the very last moment because of shortage of time and he want to visit Agra Taj Mahal.
Trump’s program to visit Gandhi Ashram
Donald Trump had a previously planned a program to spend 30 minutes in Gandhi Ashram. To make this trip memorable, the Trump and his wife was about to visit different parts of the Gandhi Ashram which included Hriday Kunj, Meena Kutir and Magan Niwas. Not only that, whenever a President comes, the ‘charkha’ also runs for him. Complete preparation was done. At the same time, the Ashram administration had also started preparing to give some gift to Trump.
On 24 February, US President is reaching Agra. He will look at the Taj with his wife in Agra. Information is being received that he will spend few hours there. During this time, they can see the Taj built on the banks of Yamuna and can also take stock of Yamuna shore. Yamuna water is seen clean by US President and for this Ganga water has been released in Yamuna. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed the preparations related to the program of Trump in Agra. Trump and his wife Melania are scheduled to reach Agra from Ahmedabad at 4:30 pm.
