According to Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, disqualifying Rahul Gandhi is an example of Modi Govt’s policy of vendetta. He added the country is witnessing politics of vendetta being spearheaded by the Modi Govt against Rahul Gandhi. It is a sheer case of retributive politics because Rahul Gandhi has been gaining popularity, especially in the wake of Bharat Jodo Yatra which was not digested by Modi Govt. This is a very cruel demonstration of an autocratic Government.
Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary K C Venugopal said, “when Rahul Gandhi raised questions about Adani and PM Modi, a conspiracy was initiated to silence him.” “It is a clear case of anti-democratic dictatorship attitude of BJP government”. he added.
