Due to the riots in the country’s capital Delhi, the situation is getting worst day by day. Entire delhi is burning under enmity on communities. Although very late, but the Delhi government has started preparing to deal with such incidents. In view of the riots in north-east Delhi, the Kejriwal government is issuing WhatsApp numbers, on which people will be able to complain about the hate messages being spread.
Sources said on Saturday, the government would appeal to the people not to forward any hate message because it is a crime to create enmity between communities by forwarding any such material. The purpose of this move is to rein in rumors spreading on social media. A source told the news agency PTI, “If anyone receives any such material, he can immediately report it to the Delhi government and tell the name and number of the person sending the message.”
The government is considering the idea of issuing WhatsApp numbers in this regard on which these complaints can be made. Sources said that an officer would look into all the complaints and send appropriate complaints to the police for necessary action. It may be known that more than 40 people have died due to riots in Delhi and hundreds are injured within 1 week.
