Delhi Assembly Elections: President, Delhi’s CM Kejriwal and Gandhi Family Cast Votes

New Delhi: All the big leaders are reaching out to cast their votes for the Delhi Assembly elections. President Ram Nath Kovind along with his wife Savita Kovind cast their vote in Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya present in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Simultaneously, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his family voted at a polling station on Civil Lines. This time too, CM Kejriwal is in the fray from New Delhi assembly seat. BJP’s Sunil Yadav and Congress Romesh Sabharwal are contesting against them.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had gone to the 6 Flag Staff Road Chief Minister’s residence to cast his vote with his family. Voted a vote in the Transport Department of Rajpura Road, just a short distance from the Chief Minister’s residence. Before casting his vote, Kejriwal took mother’s blessing, touched his feet and went out to cast his vote.

 

Also, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and his wife voted in Nirman Bhavan. On the other hand, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and MP Rahul Gandhi voted in Delhi. Sonia Gandhi cast her vote in the Nirman Bhavan booth. During this, Priyanka Gandhi said that clarify your rights and vote. Priyanka Gandhi’s vote is in Lodhi State.
