Delhi Assembly Elections: BJP’s Kapil Mishra Says AAP should be Renamed as Muslim League

After rebelling from the Aam Aadmi Party and wearing saffron, BJP candidate Kapil Mishra is in the headlines once again. He was pulled up by the Election Commission for his inflammatory tweets, courted controversy yet again with his tweet against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Speaking to news agency ANI, Mishra said that in Delhi vehicles were set on fire and policemen were beaten up behind which Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. Arvind Kejriwal is doing politics of Jinnah, AAP’s new name should be Muslim League.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, the BJP leader said the AAP should be renamed Muslim League. “The new name of the Aam Aadmi Party should be Muslim League. Umar Khalid, Afzal Guru, Burhan Wan… and those who consider terrorists as their father are afraid of Yogi Adityanath,” Kapil Mishra said.

 

It may be noted that in his controversial tweet, Mishra had earlier described the election in Delhi on February 8 as India vs Pakistan. The BJP has fielded Mishra from the Model Town Assembly seat. After the tweet, the Election Commission taking action on Mishra ordered the tweet to be deleted and the election campaign was banned for 48 hours.
