Delhi Assembly Election Result 2020: Manish Sisodia Wins Patparganj Seat By Close Margin

New Delhi: A thorn in the morning was seen in the Patparganj assembly seat of Delhi. AAP Manish Sisodia and BJP were seen in a battle to win the Patparganj constituency seat in the assembly polls. Finally Sisodia won the thorn collision. As soon as polling started at 8 am in the morning Sisodia gained the edge and remained ahead for several consecutive hours.

According to the latest Election Commission data, Manish Sisodia won from Patparganj assembly seat with 59,589 votes. Ravindra Singh Negi, standing on behalf of the BJP against him, got 57516 votes, while the Congress candidate on third with 2332 votes. Sisodia was trailing by around 1400 votes till sometime back. During this time, there was a very close fight between BJP and AAP here. After the 11th round of counting, Sisodia came out with 556 votes and eventually won. However, Sisodia had fallen behind by 78 votes once the counting started. But immediately became an edge again. In the last assembly election, Manish Sisodia from Patparganj assembly won the standard victory by a margin of about 28000 votes.

Sisodia said after victory
After winning the victory, Manish Sisodia said, I am happy to be an MLA of Patparganj again. The BJP tried to do politics of hate but the people of Delhi chose a government that works for the people.
