Delhi Women’s Commission (DCW) Chief Swati Maliwal has divorced her husband Naveen Jaihind. Swati gave this information by tweeting on Wednesday morning. She told on Twitter that she and Naveen have been divorced. Along with this, Swati wrote a sentimental message on Twitter about her and Naveen’s relationship.
Expressing her pain on Twitter, Swati wrote, “Most painful moment is when your fairytale ends. Mine ended. I & Navin have got divorced. Sometimes best of people can’t stay together. Will always miss him & our life that could have been. Every day I pray to God to give us & others like us strength to deal with this pain.”
Swati Maliwal was appointed the chairman of the Delhi Women’s Commission in July 2015 by Aam Aadmi Party government after winning the Delhi Assembly elections 2015. Earlier, she worked as a social worker. Swati Maliwal keeps raising her voice against women’s rights and atrocities on women. In the year 2018, she was also on hunger strike for ten days against the violence against women.
