- No death related to Covid-19 was reported during the day
Gandhinagar: The state reported 28 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours ending Wednesday evening, the health department said in its bulletin. No death was reported during this period.
The active caseload in the state is 274, of which 5 patients are on ventilator while 269 are stable. The death toll stands at 10,076.
8 cases in Surat
Surat district reported 8 cases, of which 7 were in the city. Vadodara city and Ahmedabad city reported 3 cases each, while Vadodara rural had 1 case.
Gandhinagar city reported 2 cases, Bhavnagar city and rural parts of Junagadh and Jamnagar reported 1 case each.
Among municipalities, Dahod and Panchmahals reported 2 cases each, while Amreli, Gir Somnath, Morbi and Sabarkantha reported 1 case each.
No case was reported in any other place.
39 persons discharged in 24 hours
As many as 39 patients recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged on Wednesday. So far, a total of 8,14,452 patients have recovered in the state, which is 98.75 per cent.
No vaccine was administered during the day, as the state government has announced that Mamata Divas activities will be conducted on Wednesdays.
