Covid-19: Gujarat reports 27 new cases in 24 hours

  • 75 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered across state in July

Gandhinagar: Less than 30 cases of Covid-19 were reported across the state in 24 hours ending Saturday evening, the health department said in its bulletin. No death was recorded during this period.

There are 252 active cases in the state at present, of which 6 are on ventilator while the remaining 246 are stable. The death toll stands at 10,076.


Recovery rate at 98.75%

As many as 35 patients recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged in last 24 hours. So far, a total of 8,14,549 patients have recovered from the infection. The recovery rate stands has increased to 98.75 per cent


Record vaccination in July

The vaccination figures in July have been at an all-time high. A total of 75,06,746 doses have been administered during the month. On Saturday alone, 3,08,647 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered.

Ahmedabad city reported 9 cases, while 1 case was reported in Ahmedabad rural. Gandhinagar city and rural reported 1 case each, so did Junagadh city and rural. Surat and Vadodara cities reported 2 cases each, Amreli, Anand, Bharuch, Jamnagar, Kutch, Narmada Panchmahals, Rajkot (rural) and Vadodara (rural) reported 1 case each.
