Gandhinagar: The state reported 16 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours ending Wednesday evening, the health department said in its bulletin. No death was reported during this period. The death toll stands at 10,077.
The active caseload of Covid-19 in Gujarat dropped below 200. There are 194 active cases, of which 3 patients are on ventilator, while 191 are in a stable condition.
Ahmedabad city reported 7 cases, Surat and Vadodara cities 3 each, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar city and Navsari 1 each
Recovery rate at 98.76%
A total of 28 persons recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged from hospitals. So far, a total of 8,14,830 persons have recovered, which is 98.76 per cent of the total cases.
3.24 lakh vaccinated in 24 hours
The overall vaccination figure in Gujarat crossed 3.79 crore after 3.24 lakh persons were administered the Covid vaccine on Wednesday.
