Country-made liquor factory in which Ahmedabad cop had partnership raided

The Prevention of Crime Branch (CB) has blown the lid off a country-made liquor manufacturing factory which belonged to a partner of an Ahmedabad city assistant Police Sub Inspector’s (PSI).

The cop Virendrasinh Darbar’s partner was allegedly running the mini-factory. The Rajkot SOG had earlier nabbed the Assistant PSI and two others who had gone to deliver IMFL to a client.

The raid at the house of one of the accused Krunal Shah had led the team of cops to the factory manufacturing country-made liquor.

Cops had raided the house of Krunal Shah a resident of Naroda Smart city. Police had recovered documents showing that Shah operated a factory where country-made liquor was bottled in IMFL bottles.

During the raid, cops recovered 46 litres of country-made liquor worth Rs23,000 and 127 glass bottles, over 600 bottle caps, and several other machines in the raid.

The Rajkot SOG had two days ago nabbed Assistant PSI Virendrasinh Darbar, Krunal Shah and Mahendra with a consignment of alcohol. Virendrasinh was a PSI with I-division traffic police in Ahmedabad. Cops had recovered 72 bottles of IMFL.
