Coronavirus: All Primary Schools in Delhi to Remain Closed Till End of March


The government is constantly monitoring the situation of the country due to Coronavirus epidemic. In this regard, important decisions are being taken throughout the country to prevent from coronavirus. So far, 30 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in India. Now the Delhi government has taken an important decision because of Coronavirus. Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said all primary schools in Delhi will be closed till March 31, with fears around the spread of coronavirus growing.

Sisodia tweeted, “As a precautionary measure to prevent the possibility of spread of COVID-19 amongst our children, Delhi Government has directed immediate closure of all primary schools (Govt/ aided/ private/MCD/NDMC) till 31/3/20.”

The Delhi government has temporarily banned biometric attendance in their offices. Sisodia said that primary schools in Delhi will remain closed till 31 March. Delhi government’s decision will be applicable from March 6. These will include all schools including government and private. They have issued advisories to all schools regarding the coronavirus.

It is known that the corona virus has knocked in India too and the number of patients here has now increased to 30. 14 suspects of coronavirus have been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. At the same time, 3,123 people have died due to coronavirus worldwide, while more than 91,783 people have been infected by it. A fresh case of coronavirus has been reported in Ghaziabad, which has now confirmed 30 cases of this virus in India.
