Congress to Hold ‘Bharat Bachao’ Rally in Delhi to Highlight BJP’s Govt ‘Divisive & Disruptive’ Policies


New Delhi: The Congress is going to rally against Modi government today at Ramlila Maidan in the country’s capital, Delhi. The rally is being organized to round up the “divisive and disruptive” policies of the BJP government. Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi,Rahul Gandhi, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and several prominent leadersformer prime minister Manmohan Singh will participate in the ‘Bharat Bachao‘ rally.

From every corner of the country, Congress workers are reaching out to join the rally. The Overseas Congress said,”Our message to save India from divisiveness, arrogance and incompetence will be spread worldwide.”

Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi will address activists at the rally. In which Congress will raise the issue of widespread protests across the country on citizenship laws. The Congress will also attacked the Modi government by opposing the citizenship bill. Apart from the citizenship bill, the issue of torture on women will also be raised in this rally. At the same time, Congress will lead the effort to inflame the Congress workers across the country through rallies.

Rahul Gandhi on Friday raised the issue of slowdown in the economy by talking to the media on the last day of the winter session. It is said that in this rally, the Congress leaders will try to surround the Modi government by raising the issue of economic downturn.

Top Congress leaders including Ahmed Patel, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot, KC Venugopal, Mukul Wasnik and Avinash Pande visited the Ramlila grounds and made an assessment of the preparations for Saturday’s ‘Bharat Bachao’ rally.Delhi Congress president Subhash Chopra claimed that over 50,000 people from the city will take part in the protest.
