Civic body polls: Congress, BJP workers clash on last day of campaigning in Vadodara

The last day of campaigning for the first phase of civic body polls in Gujarat saw Congress and BJP workers clashing in Vadodara. The campaign of both the parties came across each other during a rally in Dabhoi road in Vadodara and soon a clash started.

The workers of both parties had taken out a rally to lure voters but came against each other. Initially, they began to abuse each other verbally, and then it turned violent forcing the police to rush to the spot.

Top BJP leaders like Saurabh Patel and Dilip Sanghani were part of the roadshow that was held in ward no 10.

Earlier posters had come up in Vadodara abusing Congress leaders. The posters had made fun of Congress leaders like Amit Chavda, Paresh Dhanani, and Rajiv Satav in a derogatory way.

Police had later removed the poster
