New Delhi: New financial year 2023-24 has commenced today. On one side, Amul has hiked price of milk at the start of new financial year, on other side there is also a news giving little relief. Today price for commercial LPG cylinders have been slashed by Rs.92. However, there will not be any relief for common man as the price for domestic cylinders have not changed either side. Currently, the price for domestic LPG cylinder is above Rs.1100.

The price for LPG cylinders have been revised with effect from today. The price for Commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders have been slashed by Rs. 92 from Delhi to Patna and Ahmedabad to Agartala. As a result, consumers in Delhi will now have to pay Rs. 2,028 for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder. The relief has been provided to commercial LPG only. There is no change for price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.
This move comes exactly a month after petroleum and oil marketing companies increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders by over Rs. 350 per unit in Delhi on 1st March. whereas prices for domestic LPG cylinders were increased by Rs. 50 per unit.
