Gandhinagar: State Chief Minister Vijay Rupani convened a meeting to raise public awareness on Citizenship Amendment Act. BJP leaders were present at the meeting. It was decided to raise awareness about the CAA by January 12 by launching programs from the birth anniversary of the late Atal Bihari Bajpai.
The meeting will be held collectively at the district, Taluka, metropolitan level of the Maan ki Baat program on 25th December to 29th. On the other hand, intellectual assemblies will be held in the districts on December 30. While holding a program with the Gram Panchayats and Citizens in the urban areas from December 12 to January 12, the leaflet will be given at home and the Women’s Meeting, Run for CAA 2019 has also been organized.
State Home Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja said that the police has kept restraint throughout the incident and did not consider this restraint a weakness. Now if the anti-social elements ever raise their head again, the police will take strict action.
