After giving free electricity, water and bus travel to Delhiites. Now the Kejriwal government has announced free WiFi in the national capital Delhi. Kejriwal said,”11,000 WiFi hotspots will be set up. 4,000 will be in bus stops, 7,000 in markets, and so on. First 100 hotspots will be inaugurated on December 16. It will cost around Rs 100 crores.”

AAP fulfill last promise: Kejriwal
Announcing the plan, Kejriwal said, “AAP fulfills it’s last poll promise! Arvind Kejriwal announces free WiFi in Delhi. 11,000 hotspots will be installed to provide free internet.” He said that everyone is expected to get benefit from the free WiFi.
Giving information about this scheme, Kejriwal said that there will be 100 hotspots in every assembly. people can use upto 15GB data for every month.In the first phase 11,000 will be setup across the city. The 70 constituencies assembly will have 1,000 hotspots. WiFi with 200 mbps internet speed will be available within 50 metre radius of the hotspot. The government will provide Rs 100 crore for the project annually.In this, 150 to 200 people will be able to use free Wi-Fi service at one place. Out of this, 4 thousand hotspots will be installed at the bus stand and the remaining 7 thousand in the market and will be installed by RWA.
