Chirag Paswan promises coaching hub, Sita temple in poll manifesto


Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan on Wednesday released the party’ manifesto—‘Bihar 1st Bihari 1st’. Chirag Paswan said the election manifesto has been prepared after consulting 4 lakh people and will resolve the various problems faced by the people of Bihar.

The LJP chief said that it is the first time that he is addressing the media without his father Ram Vilas Paswan.

Addressing the media, Chirag Paswan said, “Papa kehte the sher ka baccha hai to jangal cheer ke niklega, aaj main jangal cheer ke aaya hoon (My father used to say a tiger cub rips through the jungle to come out, I have done that today).”

Exodus of youth a major problem for Bihar

While releasing the LJP manifesto, Chirag Paswan said, “Bihar’s biggest problem is the exodus of its people. Bihar’s youth is leaving the state looking for education, employment. Bihar has not seen development in its truest sense.”

The LJP leader, who has taken on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and the ruling coalition of NDA, has said that politics in Bihar is based on caste and this has to change. Paswan again targeted Nitish Kumar on Wednesday and said the chief minister is not letting the state’s youth to progress.

Poll promises by Chirag Paswan

Chirag Paswan has promised to develop a coaching hub similar to Rajasthan’s Kota, Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj and Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar. He has said that if he is voted to power, students from Bihar will not have to leave the state for competitive exam preparations.

Chirag has also promised a grand Sita temple in Bihar, which would make it famous on the world map. He has also promised free rides for women in government buses as well as a curb on the bureaucracy.

He has also promised that once he comes to power, all government vacancies in the state will be filled up.
