This year the overall pass percentage is 87.33 percent which is 5.38 percent less than last year. In 2022, the pass percentage was 92.71 percent. Nearly 16.9 lakh students appeared in the 12th class examination conducted by CBSE from 15th February to 5th April 2023. This time too the girls have got an edge over the boys.90.68 percent girls have passed 12th board exam, While 84.67 percent boys have passed. Whereas the transgender pass percentage is 60 percent.
According to the information received from the sources, the CBSE board will also announce the result of class 10th today. This year, 87.33 percent students have passed in class 12, which is better than the pass percentage of 83.40 percent in the pre-Covid period in 2019. According to CBSE, the percentage of girls is 6 percent higher than boys. The pass percentage of girls has been 90.68 percent while the pass percentage of boys has been 84.67 percent.
This year, CBSE moved back to the old pattern of holding only one board exam at the end of the academic session. In 2022, the board had divided the exam into two terms and many other boards had followed suit.
The results can be checked at results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE board exam results are also accessible through DigiLocker and UMANG apps. Board exam roll number, date of birth, school number and admit card ID are the credentials required for checking CBSE results online.
