CAA Protest: UP Police Issued High Alert in 6 Districts, Section 144 Implemented

While the students of Lucknow Nadwa College protested against the Citizenship Amendment Act this morning, now the fire is slowly reaching the adjoining UP of Delhi. Keeping in view the protests in UP, the UP Police has issued a high alert in 6 districts. While Section 144 has been implemented in Aligarh, Meerut, Kasganj, Bulandshahar, Saharanpur, Bareilly. Not only this, Internet services have also been stopped in Aligarh, Meerut and Saharanpur.

Apart from this, thousands of people have gathered at Idgah in Aligarh. All these were opposing the citizenship Act. In view of this, a heavy police force has been deployed in the city. The impact of the demonstration is being seen in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

After the lathi charge of the police in Jamia, there was a late night commotion in Lucknow. The students of Nadwa College created a lot of commotion by blocking the road. Seeing the matter getting serious, the police had to use force. After this, the students ran away and went inside the college. After which the force was increased in Nadwa and surrounding areas. In fact, this ruckus occurred on social media when the rumor of death of the police shot in the organism at Jamia Millia University became viral.

There was a face off between students and the police as it came to the latest educational institute to be rocked by protests against the newly amended Citizenship Act.
